Privacy Policy
Konnectible Task is a workspace for managing tasks, projects, teams, notes, files, boards, and calendar planning. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices users have when using the service.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide the service and keep each workspace secure. This may include:
- Account information such as name, email address, profile initials, role, school or organisation, and login provider.
- Information provided through Google sign-in, such as your name, email address, and profile image, when you choose to sign in with Google.
- Workspace content that users create, including tasks, due dates, priorities, projects, teams, notes, subtasks, files, comments, task history, and completion history.
- Basic technical information such as browser type, device information, session data, and security logs needed to keep the service reliable.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide access to the correct workspace, save user content, sync shared tasks across teams, show who made changes, improve reliability, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, Konnectible Task only uses Google account information for authentication and account setup. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not access Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or other Google services unless a future feature clearly asks for permission and you choose to enable it.
Sharing and collaboration
Tasks, projects, teams, notes, files, and update history may be visible to other users who are part of the same team, project, or shared workspace. This is necessary for collaboration. We do not share personal information with unrelated third parties except where required to operate, secure, or legally protect the service.
Service providers
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, analytics, file handling, and email delivery. These providers may process information only as needed to provide those services.
Data storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect user information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to protect accounts and workspace data through authentication, access controls, and database security rules.
Data retention
We keep account and workspace information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Users may request deletion of their account or workspace data where applicable.
Your choices
You may update your profile, manage workspace content, sign out, or request account deletion. You may also choose not to use Google sign-in and instead use email and password sign-in where available.
Children and school use
Konnectible Task is intended for educators, school staff, and authorised users. If a school or organisation uses the service with students or minors, that organisation is responsible for obtaining any required consent and configuring access appropriately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the effective date and make the revised policy available on this page.
